Markus Maulavirta, acclaimed master Chef and a legend for promoting local producers, brought haute cuisine to the forefront of new Finnish Cuisine. Markus has been integral in introducing local food of Finland to the world. Now, Maulavirta is handing over the drivers seat to the up and coming team of talent he has so skilfully created!
Now, the next generation takes the reign of Ilmatar. Pasi Partio, Chef de Cuisine, is slated to head the innovative operations of the main restaurant at Klaus K. Pasi Partio has been a protégée of Maulavirta for several years. Now he is embarking on a new trend that is captivating the world wide trend in the culinary industry.Pasi, his Sous- Chef Janne Tirri and the team are creating dishes that everyone can recognize whether they are from Finland or abroad, yet, he is
utilizing the finest Finland has to offer from local producers and incorporating internationally tested dishes and blending the two to offer something that will make any appetite grow when reading the menu.
