International art is always also national, but national art is not always international. Finnish modern art is of surprisingly high quality, given the low population, and through the new generation of artists also strongly international.

This years art work, silk sceen print on paper, is made by Mikko Ijäs. The silk screen is an essential part of his wide collection of work called Vincent van Gogh and Walt Disney Collection.
