Last year Finland was visited by 5.3 million tourists - roughly the same as the country’s population. It’s a small number compared to French or Spanish tourist statistics, but it’s a lot to us! Many of our visitors come from neighbouring countries like Russia or Sweden so, in international terms, Finland and its capital Helsinki remain the best kept secret in the world.
